To provide advanced security protocols, remote recovery modules, and EMI asset tracking, our App collects the following data categories:
- Device Identity Hardware Metrics: We collect and track device identifiers including IMEI numbers, Serial Numbers, and SIM card details (ICCID) to authorize secure Digital Power Keys and trigger immediate hardware-change alerts.
- Location Coordinates (Background Location): The App tracks the device's location in the background to enable remote device recovery and anti-theft tracking functions, even when the App is closed or not actively in use.
- Account Registration Profiles: For retail dealers and users, we securely compile account datasets including Full Name, Registered Shop Name, Mobile Number, Email Address, Pincode Index, and City Node.
2. Sensitive Permissions & Declarations
To deliver automated device safety features, the App requests and executes the following core permissions:
- Device Administrator / DPC Framework Access: Authorized explicitly by the user to execute structural security updates, manage enterprise locking, and prevent unauthorized factory resetting of secured retail devices.
- Read Phone State & SMS Triggers: Utilized purely to recognize SIM card swap configurations and send instant security warning updates to alternative emergency metrics provided during onboarding.
3. How We Use the Data
Your datasets are structured within our network nodes strictly for the following operational workflows:
- To identify and link device locks with verified Defendzo Power Keys.
- To track lost or missing hardware using background geolocation metrics.
- To provide retail distributors and dealers a transparent ledger of their allocated licenses and active security modules.
- To process recurring e-mandates or payment workflows seamlessly without leaking transactional data.
4. Data Retention, Protection & Sharing
We handle your data with absolute care under strict security protocols:
- No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, trade, rent, or lease your personal identity data, IMEI configurations, or locations to any third-party marketing networks or analytics brokers.
- Data Encryption: All transactions and payloads traveling between the App, the Firestore databases, and external secure nodes are protected using industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption algorithms.
- Retention Policy: Data is securely retained only for the duration your device license or dealer profile remains active within our system matrix. You can request complete profile termination and deletion at any point.
